OPL Update: Farewell to Pabu

Mon 3rd Dec 2018 - 8:46am

With 2018 coming to an end, we sadly bid farewell to our young top laner; Jackson “Pabu” Pavone. Jackson joined us here at Avant Gaming towards the end of last year and has been an absolute pleasure to have under our brand.

Captured: Jackson during split two.

While we didn’t finish off the year on a high, we wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for his efforts in the end of year relegations and throughout both splits; We can’t thank him enough for that.

Jackson is one of the younger players in the Oceanic Pro League and we believe he will continue to progress immensely as he progresses through the up and coming splits. In our eyes, he is one of the strongest top laners in this region and will be a massive asset to the team he moves to next year. Not only that, but his personality outside of the game is unrivaled for content and we will definitely miss his charisma here at Avant Gaming.

Captured: Jackson at MEO signing sessions earlier this year.

Whilst Jackson departs, so too does his loving family, which have been a big part of the support towards our team throughout this year. To them, we will miss you.

Avant Gaming CEO, Wesley Collier, had a few words to say about Jackson:

“Jackson, you have been nothing but a pleasure to work with and I wish you nothing but the best at your new team. Thank you for all your hard work towards our brand, both inside and outside of the game. I look forward to watching you progress in the OPL.”

From all of us here at Avant Gaming, good luck Jackson. We will be sure to support you throughout all of next year and can’t wait to see how you progress!
